Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Drilling and Completions Technician in the Oil & Gas Exploration & Production in Calgary, Alberta.
An established energy producer is seeking a Drilling & Completions Assistant to support regulatory reporting, well file management, contractor compliance, and departmental administration within a busy Drilling & Completions team. This role offers exposure to drilling, completions, construction, and well maintenance operations while working closely with field personnel, service providers, and technical teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional seeking a contract role with strong potential for long-term employment.

A typical day:
Complete DDS/OneStop submissions for end-of-drilling activities
Review and interpret Pason tour sheets to ensure reporting accuracy
Submit regulatory data and reports to governing authorities as required
Maintain drilling, completions, workover, and abandonment records
Manage electronic and physical well files, including document retrieval and storage coordination
Monitor contractor compliance and certificate requirements through ComplyWorks
Update and maintain site and well information within SiteView
Provide administrative support, reporting, correspondence, and reception coverage as required
Successful candidates will have:
Possess hands-on experience with DDS/OneStep submission processes
Utilize SiteView, WellView, or similar operational reporting systems
Apply knowledge of Directive 59 requirements and regulatory reporting practices
Leverage experience with StackDX, including system administration or subject matter expertise
Maintain strong records management, documentation, and organizational skills
Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook at an advanced level
Communicate effectively with field personnel, contractors, and operational stakeholders
Demonstrate 3-10+ years of oil and gas industry experience in drilling, completions, or field operations
