The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Data Science professionals for a fully remote project where you will apply your technical expertise, analytical skills, and professional judgment to specialized work supporting the training and improvement of AI systems.
This opportunity is ideal for data professionals with strong industry, technical, or academic backgrounds who are interested in applying their expertise to emerging technology while maintaining a flexible schedule.
The initial contract is 4 weeks, with the potential for ongoing project opportunities. Candidates must be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week, with work completed flexibly throughout the week based on individual availability and project requirements.
What You'll Do
Depending on your background and area of specialization, you may:

Apply data science and analytics expertise to help train and improve AI systems

Review and evaluate AI-generated technical reasoning, analyses, and explanations

Analyze datasets, methodologies, statistical approaches, and technical solutions

Assess quantitative information for accuracy, logic, relevance, and completeness

Identify errors, inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, or flawed analytical reasoning

Solve quantitative, statistical, and data-driven problems

Evaluate different approaches to data analysis and problem-solving

Interpret data, analytical outputs, and technical methodologies

Develop clear, well-reasoned explanations of technical and quantitative concepts

Follow detailed project guidelines and quality standards

Complete work independently while managing your own schedule
What We're Looking For

Candidates should bring:

A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field

Professional, academic, or research experience involving data analysis, data science, analytics, or quantitative problem-solving

Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative methods, and data-driven problem-solving

Experience working with data and interpreting analytical results

Proficiency with relevant technical tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar data and analytics technologies

The ability to identify errors, unsupported assumptions, or weaknesses in quantitative and analytical reasoning

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written communication skills

Familiarity with generative AI tools and an understanding of how human expertise and feedback can be used to train and improve AI systems

Comfort learning and navigating new technologies and digital platforms

Comfort working in a remote, self-directed environment

The ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
Experience in areas such as statistical modelling, predictive analytics, experimentation, data visualization, machine learning, analytics engineering, optimization, or advanced quantitative analysis is considered an asset.
