This role supports the effective delivery of student placement risk management by ensuring compliance with clinical placement requirements and maintaining accurate health and placement records.

Working closely with faculty, students, and external healthcare partners, you will play an important role in supporting future healthcare professionals. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented nursing professional who enjoys combining clinical knowledge with collaboration, problem solving, and program coordination.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll review and assess student clinical placement records to ensure compliance with placement requirements.
• You'll evaluate immunization documentation and occupational health requirements using your nursing expertise.
• You'll maintain accurate, confidential student records while ensuring documentation meets established standards.
• You'll collaborate with academic programs and external stakeholders to support the consistent delivery of the placement compliance program.
• You'll provide guidance to students using effective health counselling techniques and respond to complex inquiries with professionalism.
• You'll apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures while identifying and resolving compliance issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing Sciences (RN) with 3+ years of experience, or College diploma in Nursing Sciences (RPN) with 5+ years of experience.
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Specialized nursing experience evaluating immunizations and occupational health requirements.
• Knowledge of epidemiology standards, privacy legislation, and the Human Rights Code as it relates to confidential information.
• Experience applying policies, procedures, health counselling techniques, and strong problem-solving, negotiation, and crisis management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, databases, spreadsheets, email, and internet-based systems.
• Strong planning, initiative, client service, teamwork, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
