Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Material Handler (Evening)s in the Electro-Mechanical Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Kitting carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the warehouse function. The Material Handler – Kitting generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities. Responsibilities: Assists with interplant transfers Door Service (P0LR); works with company inventory system Transfers excess material between customers Performs cycle count activities Resolves discrepancies and recommends changes to processes to reduce future discrepancies Maintains and updates policies and procedures and trains others as required Replenishes raw material using a variety of established replenishment methods Expedite shortages or potential shortages in order that manufacturing and/or customer orders can be satisfied in a timely manner Requirements: At least one (1) year of previous warehouse, material handling, and/or electronics-related experience, minimum High School Education, minimum Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail aptitude Excellent PC skills are required Basic math skills are required What's in it for you: $19.00 hourly 10% shift premium on evening shifts 3-8 weeks of hands-on training Contractor health & dental benefits Free on-site parking Monday - Friday, full-time position Soft skills: Strong communication is required This posting is for an active opening.
