Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a PLR Inspector in the Electro-Mechanical Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls. Responsibilities: Has working knowledge of IPC 610 standard Contributes to identifying, articulating, and escalating problems or issues for technical support or engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product, or process, and recommends changes Conducts product inspection, documenting as required, according to specific procedures Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions Conducts repetitive inspection of products and materials against known standards, procedures, and checklists Identifies and segregates non-conforming material Reads assembly and process documentation Requirements: High School Diploma, minimum 1-2 years of previous related experience What's in it for you: $19.00 hourly Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay Health and dental benefits Soft skills: Great communication This posting is for an active opening.
