Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Optical Inspection Operator in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is seeking experienced Automated Optical Inspection Operators for their Ottawa facility. The ideal candidate brings with them previous experience in automated inspection, machine operation, or testing environments. Responsibilities: Analyze and report AOI defect information from test station reports Perform visual inspection of PSBA and compare against test results Perform verification tests, as needed, in support of Quality or Engineering Departments Participate in Lean improvement activities Reading and understanding wiring tables Assist Engineers or Technicians by gathering requested information to help establish the root cause of problems, and determine corrective action Requirements: High School Diploma, minimum requirement Previous test and inspection experience in a related role is considered an asset Familiarity with IPC Assembly/Quality standards What's in it for you: $19.00 hourly Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay Preferred rates for benefit coverage available Transit accessible and free parking Opportunity for extension or permanent placement Soft skills: Ability to communicate effectively with peers This posting is for an active opening.
