Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Manager, HR Communications in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. We're looking for a strategic communications professional to elevate how HR communicates across our client's organization. You'll partner closely with HR leadership and Corporate Communications to translate complex initiatives into compelling, audience-focused communications that align with business priorities. What's in it for you: $54.00 - $60.00 hourly Contract duration: Sep 2026 to Feb 2027 Hybrid work model (3 days in-office), Monday to Friday, full time hours Downtown Calgary office Responsibilities: Develop executive communications, including Board materials, leadership presentations, briefing notes, and key messaging. Translate complex HR programs and workforce initiatives into clear, concise, and impactful communications. Create communication frameworks, templates, toolkits, and standards to improve consistency across HR. Support HR leaders with communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and message development. Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment with enterprise messaging and brand standards. Drive continuous improvement in HR communication practices, processes, and governance. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, or HR communications. Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, HR, or equivalent experience. Proven experience creating executive presentations, Board materials, briefing notes, and leadership communications. Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation development skills. Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities, with experience working closely with senior leaders. Ability to simplify complex information and tailor messaging for diverse audiences. Experience in large, complex organizations; energy, utilities, pipeline, or other regulated industry experience is an asset. This posting is for an active opening.
