Build, Blast & Coat Your Career in a Hands-On Industrial Role! Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Sand Blaster / Painters in the chemical manufacturing industry in Slave Lake, Alberta. As a Sand Blaster / Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, sandblasting, and coating parts and equipment to meet quality and operational standards. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and longevity of equipment by ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished, while consistently working in a safe and efficient manner in both indoor and outdoor environments Total rewards: $42.00 - $47.00 hourly Steady Monday–Friday schedule with consistent work hours Variety of work across sandblasting, painting, and equipment preparation Annual bonus- 5% of base pay 2 weeks of vacation Benefits – eligible to participate in the employee group insured health benefit plans Duties: Sandblast parts and equipment to required specifications Prepare surfaces by sanding, priming, and applying coatings Perform daily hazard assessments and equipment inspections Review repair requirements and plan work to minimize waste Order and track materials and supplies to support operations Complete required paperwork and permits accurately Clean and maintain all shop equipment Follow and promote health, safety, and environmental procedures Successful candidates will have: Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check required Journeyman Painter certification with at least 1 year of experience Minimum 1 year experience in autobody or industrial sandblasting Valid driver’s license Experience sandblasting structural materials, trailers, or pipe Familiarity with industrial coatings and paint booth environments Valid Confined Space Entry and H2S Alive certifications Forklift and Aerial Work Platform certifications are considered assets This posting is for an active opening.
