Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.
Calian Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Services Technologist with an interest to provide health services to Canadian Armed Forces members in their exclusive outpatient clinic located on Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake, AB. This role is ideal if you have an interest in treating the military population, operational trauma, and occupational health. This is a rewarding position where you’d make a difference in the lives of the men and women who serve our country and keep us safe.
Occupational Health Services Technologists possess specialized expertise, knowledge, and skills in the areas of occupational health, and safety. Their main roles are to develop and deliver programs that will assist in conserving life, health and property. This is accomplished through the identification of health and safety hazards in the work environment and recommending corrective action.
Conduct work site occupational health walk-through, surveillance, and compliance inspections at DND and CF facilities;
You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
