About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected organization in the commercial insurance sector, is seeking Field Sales Specialists to join their growing team across several Ontario territories. This is an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven opportunity for someone who enjoys developing new business, getting out into the community, and building a long-term portfolio of commercial clients.
Youll spend much of your time in the field meeting business owners, understanding their operations, and recommending insurance solutions that support and protect their businesses. Youll have the independence to manage your territory while benefiting from the training, mentorship, and resources of an established insurance organization.

Your Responsibilities
Youll prospect for new commercial clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, community involvement, and in-person visits.
Youll meet face-to-face with business owners to understand their operations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Youll build and grow your own book of business while developing long-term client relationships.
Youll manage your territory independently, maintaining a consistent boots-on-the-ground presence.
Youll manage pipeline activity through CRM tools and maintain strong prospecting and sales activity.
Youll participate in ongoing sales training, team meetings, and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications
1+ years of sales or client-facing experience, ideally within insurance, group benefits, financial services, or B2B sales.
Previous insurance experience is strongly preferred, including insurance sales, support, service, or account management.
OTL or RIBO licensing is a strong asset, with support available for candidates who need to obtain licensing.
Competitive and results-driven with a genuine hunter mentality and comfort developing business from the ground up.
Outgoing, personable, and confident building relationships face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers.
Independent, resilient, and a quick learner who thrives with autonomy and ownership over a territory.
Valid drivers license, access to a vehicle, and comfort travelling regularly throughout an assigned territory.
