Contributes to the overall success of the Global Onboarding Experience team within HR Services Operations in Canada by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Support the identification and implementation of opportunities for process improvement and enhanced effectiveness in delivering project objectives and goals.
  • Monitor and triage tickets received via the Case Management System to the appropriate teams or administrators in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Recruitment COE Program Lead to maintain the integrity of the clause library, offer letter templates, and Case Management templates.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of orientation sessions and track feedback surveys to enhance the overall onboarding experience.
  • Drive internal auditing initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity of HR employee records, including but not limited to Payroll and SAP Replicator reports.
  • Assist administrators with complex employee inquiries related to recruitment and onboarding, resolve escalated issues, and provide coverage for overflow work as required.
  • Train new team members on processes and procedures and improve the training experience by updating training guides and job aids as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and provide recommendations to management.
  • Understand and apply the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decision-making.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring appropriate business controls are maintained to address operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Relevant experience resolving customer service requests.
  • Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end HR processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bank's HRIS systems.
  • Deep understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous auditing experience (considered an asset).
  • Experience leading program initiatives (considered an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of the Bank's onboarding policies and procedures.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities with strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management.
  • Experience in conflict and issue resolution.
  • Bilingualism in French (considered an asset).
