We are currently seeking Casual on Call Security Guards
to support operations within Various Government Sites. This respected,

About the Role
In this position, you will provide security coverage at
various client locations to ensure uninterrupted security operations. You will
patrol assigned areas, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies,
enforce site regulations, and maintain detailed records of security-related
activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patrolling
assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activity.
- Monitoring
security cameras, alarms, and other security systems.
- Responding
promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Securing
facilities by ensuring doors, gates, and access points remain protected.
- Reporting
security incidents, accidents, hazards, and disturbances.
- Enforcing
site-specific security procedures and protocols.
- Assisting
visitors, contractors, and employees with information and directions.
- Completing
accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
- Supporting
multiple sites as operational requirements dictate.

What You Bring
- Valid
Alberta Security License
- Valid
First Aid & CPR Certification
- High
School Diploma or GED
- Drivers
License, Class 5
- Military,
RCMP, or security experience considered an asset
- Residency
in Canada for minimum 5 consecutive years
- Must
have or be able to pass PPCT
- Strong
verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills in English
- Strong
organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent
customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Strong
computer skills and ability to learn security technology and communication
devices
- Positive
attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong
problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Exceptional
attention to detail and report-writing abilities
- Ability
to work independently and adapt to changing assignments
Physical Requirements
- Ability
to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability
to conduct regular patrols throughout assigned properties
- Ability
to climb or descend stairs as required
- Ability
to work effectively indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability
to respond quickly to emergencies and security incidents
Working Conditions
- 12-hour
shifts
- Rotating
days, nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as required
- Indoor
and outdoor work environments, including exposure to inclement weather
- Frequent
movement between different client sites and assignments
- Use of
radios, surveillance systems, computers, and other security equipment
