Join a large-scale enterprise environment supporting critical Cisco network and security operations across multiple locations. This hands-on contract role is ideal for an experienced network professional who thrives in troubleshooting complex infrastructure, managing Cisco security technologies, supporting voice services, and ensuring high availability across business-critical systems. You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a robust network environment that powers daily operations. Responsibilities: Provide operational support for Cisco firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve network, security, and connectivity incidents in production environments Execute network changes, upgrades, and service requests following established processes Support enterprise routing infrastructure and WAN connectivity utilizing BGP Configure, monitor, and maintain Cisco Firepower and NGFW environments Support Cisco Unified Communications, SIP trunking, and VoIP services Maintain availability of critical voice and emergency communication systems Requirements: Strong hands-on experience supporting Cisco Firepower (FTD/NGFW), Cisco switches, and Cisco routers Demonstrated experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise Cisco security infrastructure Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking including VLANs, routing, switching, and BGP Hands-on experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications (UC), SIP trunking, and VoIP services Experience executing network changes and service requests within ITIL-based change management frameworks Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, security, and connectivity issues with minimal supervision Total rewards: $55.00 - $60.00 hourly Start immediately on a high-impact enterprise project Gain exposure to a large-scale Cisco infrastructure spanning 44 locations Support advanced network, security, and communications technologies Expand expertise across networking, security, voice, and wireless technologies Soft skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in high-pressure production environments Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members Collaborate effectively with network, security, infrastructure, and business teams Prioritize competing tasks while maintaining service reliability and performance This posting is for an active opening.
