We are currently seeking Full-Time Sheriff
& Security to support operations within Sheriffs and law enforcement
personnel. This respected, high‑responsibility role is essential in

About the Role
in this position, you will conduct
front-line security screening for all individuals entering the courthouse using
approved screening equipment and established procedures. You will manage access
control points, provide professional guidance to visitors, and work alongside
Sheriffs and law enforcement personnel to maintain a safe, secure, and
respectful environment. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment,
maintain situational awareness, and consistently uphold the professional
standards required within a justice facility.

What You Bring
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drivers License, Class 5
- Strong verbal communication and
interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and
confidentiality at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and
commitment to following procedures
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and
professional in a high-responsibility environment
- Experience working in security, public
safety, customer service, or law enforcement support is considered an
asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended
periods throughout the shift
- Ability to operate security screening
equipment and conduct inspections
- Ability to maintain alertness and
situational awareness in a dynamic environment
- Ability to respond appropriately to
incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
Working Conditions
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday schedule
- Hours of work: 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM
- Courthouse environment with daily
interaction with the public, legal professionals, and law enforcement
personnel
