We are currently seeking Casual On-Call Relief Security Mobile Drivers to support public and private sector clients through mobile patrols, alarm response, and rapid incident intervention across Southern Alberta.

About the Role

In this position, you will conduct mobile patrols, respond to alarms and emergencies, perform site inspections, and provide professional security support across various client locations. As a Mobile Driver, you are often the first security presence on scene, helping to protect people, property, and operations through proactive patrols and effective incident response

As a Security Mobile Driver, you provide a visible deterrent to criminal activity, respond to emergencies, and support operational continuity across multiple locations. Your judgment, situational awareness, and professionalism help ensure effective responses during critical situations.


What You Bring

  • Valid Alberta Security License.
  • Valid Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver’s License.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract with no demerits.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Residency in Canada for minimum 7 consecutive years to obtain CIP clearance.
  • Strong verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills in English.
  • Valid First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
  • Attention to detail and strong report-writing skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use security technology, mobile devices, and reporting systems.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during emergency situations.
  • Availability to work days, nights, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to conduct indoor and outdoor patrols in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs as required.
  • Ability to maintain alertness and focus throughout extended shifts.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies.

Working Conditions

  • 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
  • Flexible scheduling including days, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mobile work environment with changing locations and assignments.
  • Indoor and outdoor duties performed year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Use of radios, mobile devices, security software, and reporting systems.
