As a CAD Designer, you will work on a variety of transportation and municipal infrastructure engineering projects that may include roads, sewers, watermains, culverts, stormwater management facilities, site development, and municipal drains.
Prepare and support engineering designs and technical drawings throughout all project phases.
Produce functional, preliminary, and detailed design drawings, tender documents, construction drawings, field orders, and as-built records.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and technical staff to ensure coordinated project delivery.
Support project execution while meeting scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
Contribute to transportation, municipal infrastructure, site development, and stormwater management projects.
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technician or a degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline.
Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), Certified Technician (C.Tech.), Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) considered an asset.
Minimum 1-year progressive CAD design experience.
Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) would be considered a strong additional asset.
Solid knowledge of CAD design services and the principles and practices of civil engineering and experience working within an engineering environment will be considered an asset.
End-to-end design exposure – contribute to engineering designs and technical drawings through every project phase, from preliminary design and tender packages to construction support and as-built documentation.
Collaborative project delivery – work closely with engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, giving you visibility into how successful infrastructure projects are planned and executed.
Ownership and accountability – manage your assigned responsibilities while balancing scope, budget, and schedule requirements, helping you build strong project management skills early in your career.

Competitive base salary in the range of $60,000-$85,000, based on years of experience
