Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with established safety and operational guidelines
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Load, unload, and transport finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility
Supply production lines with required raw materials in a timely manner
Remove finished product from production lines and place in designated storage areas
Perform routine inspections on forklifts and equipment; report defects or maintenance needs promptly
Handle materials carefully to prevent product damage and maintain quality standards
Ensure proper stacking, storage, and organization of materials and finished goods
Conduct weekly line sanitation as scheduled
Assist production lines as needed throughout the shift
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals
Education / Skills / Experience Required:
Minimum 1+ years of proven forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
Valid forklift license/certification (Counterbalance required; Reach/Walkie considered an asset)
Experience operating heavy material handling equipment in a fast-paced production setting is an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities
Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic
Pay Rate: $24.46/hr to start
