Key Responsibilities
The candidates must perform the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, retrofitting or setups for all types of machines, tools and equipment. Furthermore, they are required to calibrate and adjust machines, adequately choose materials, control work methods and techniques as well as correct work parameters further to detection of problems. They must also detect defective components and manufacture complex components
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma of Vocational Studies in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent
Knowledge of advanced techniques of the trade (laser alignment, ultrasonic, vibration analysis, mechanical assembly plans, etc).
Knowledge of the various types of equipment to maintain: machining equipment, industrial pumps, gearboxes, electric motors and other industrial rotating equipment.
Be familiar with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of machining and operation of CNC equipment is an asset.
***The schedule is 5 days per week, from 2pm to 10pm***

The candidates must successfully pass the written and practical examinations provided to access the position. They must be members of the Union. Functional knowledge of French is required.
