Salary: From 100 to 110 per Hour
 

Location: Greater Vancouver Area, Hybrid - 2 days per week required onsite

Language: Advanced written and verbal English communication skills required

Duration: Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for 18 month extension

This contract opportunity is ideal for a senior project leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys delivering technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and long-term business value.

Working within a large public sector environment, you will lead the coordinated implementation of interconnected operational systems that support fleet modernization and digital transformation goals. You will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver meaningful change across multiple stakeholder groups.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead complex end-to-end IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• You'll manage procurement activities, including RFI and RFP processes, vendor selection, and contract oversight
• You'll develop business cases, project plans, governance frameworks, and executive reporting materials
• You'll oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder management activities
• You'll coordinate multidisciplinary teams including analysts, architects, developers, QA resources, and business stakeholders
• You'll drive organizational readiness and support successful adoption of new technology solutions

Skills and Qualifications
• 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience delivering full SDLC projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience managing RFI and RFP processes
• Strong experience leading enterprise implementations and multi-system integrations
• Proven expertise in budget, schedule, risk, scope, and vendor management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and presentation skills
• PMP certification, public sector experience, and Organizational Change Management experience are considered strong assets
