A recovery-oriented system of care is a coordinated network of personalized, community-based services for people at risk of or experiencing addiction and mental health challenges. It provides access to a full continuum of services and supports, from prevention and intervention to treatment and recovery. The vision is for every Albertan to have the opportunity to pursue recovery and live a healthy and productive life. Are you a strategic leader who excels at navigating complex stakeholder environments, delivering large‑scale projects, and constructively managing competing priorities? This role offers the opportunity to lead high‑profile capital initiatives, engage with senior leaders and partners across government, and ensure investments are delivered effectively and with long‑term value for Albertans.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Capital Projects and Planning, the Director, Capital Projects provides strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, delivery, and management of capital infrastructure projects supporting addiction and mental health services across Alberta. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, a solid understanding of capital project delivery, and the ability to manage risk, navigate differing perspectives, and resolve complex issues in a politically and operationally complex environment.

A university degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience related to the role; or equivalent as described below.
