About the Opportunity
This opportunity sits within a well-established organization in the financial services sector, where risk management is central to strategic decision-making and long-term success. As an Enterprise Risk Advisor, this role plays a key part in strengthening risk practices across enterprise and divisional teams.

Working closely with business leaders, this position provides trusted guidance on risk strategy, governance, and compliance. It offers the chance to influence how risk is identified, assessed, and managed, while contributing to a culture that values proactive thinking, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
• Provide expert risk guidance, oversight, and assurance to enterprise and divisional partners, ensuring alignment with established frameworks
• Lead the development and execution of risk management strategies that support business objectives and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, improve processes, and design effective control frameworks
• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements based on evolving industry standards
• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting risk mitigation for new products, services, and business initiatives
• Leverage analytical tools to evaluate financial and operational risks and support data-driven decision-making
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing credibility as a risk and compliance thought leader

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in risk management ideally with banking or financial services
• Chartered Accountant, MBA, or equivalent degree in finance, law, or risk management
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with financial and operational risk analysis, including use of analytical tools and modeling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement risk strategies aligned with business goals
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate risk exposure
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams
