This is a unique opportunity to step into a relationship-driven Business Development role within a growing financial services environment focused on alternative mortgage solutions. You will manage and expand a developing portfolio of broker relationships, supporting clients who require flexible lending options and helping brokers navigate complex mortgage scenarios.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll build and nurture relationships with mortgage brokers, becoming a trusted partner for their lending needs
• You’ll manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized brokerages while expanding your network
• You’ll proactively identify opportunities within your pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets
• You’ll travel locally regularly to meet brokers, strengthening connections through regular in-person engagement
• You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to support deal structuring and execution
• You’ll contribute to increasing market presence and overall revenue growth through strategic business development
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in mortgage sales, lending, or broker relationship management
• Valid Level 2 mortgage agent license required
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Experience working with brokers or within alternative lending environments is an asset
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Strong communication skills with a consultative, relationship-first approach
• Ability to work independently, manage targets, and adapt in a performance-driven environment
