Location: Coquitlam, BC

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 salary

Report to Area Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as a CSR, lead RVT or related Manager role (veterinary industry preferred but necessary)

  • Knowledge of customer service and marketing programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to problem-solve and make decisions

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Great interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

 Job Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with the Area Manager to support daily/weekly tasks; administrative, customer service, inventory programs, onboarding new employees, reporting and weekly updates

  • Assist with hiring and training initiatives and coordinate with Human Resources

  • Assist and review sales and other financial reports (training provided)

  • Positively represent the hospital and VCA in the professional community and to the general public.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee evaluations for the front desk with the area manager.

  • Handle the communication of financial information to clients and doctors.

  • Identify and provide recommendations for potential problems, non-routine situations, workflow processes, and client service needs to the hospital manager.

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of reporting tools and queries needed to manage the business.
