Are you driven by quality, data, and continuous improvement? Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Technician, Test Lab Engineering in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. As a member of the Test Lab Engineering team, you will support daily Test Lab operations and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives. You will provide technical support, address nonconformances, troubleshoot and introduce equipment, and update Standard Operating Procedures. You will also act as the TestTrak administrator, creating and maintaining test protocols and processes, and may support Gross Margin Improvement initiatives. A typical day: Provide hands-on technical support to Test Lab operations, including troubleshooting equipment and supporting testing activities Review, investigate, and close test-related nonconformances, documenting findings and corrective actions Create, update, and maintain test protocols, procedures, and documentation as the TestTrak administrator Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor processes, analyze data, and implement improvements to quality and efficiency Successful candidates will have: A solid technical foundation with the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and follow structured testing and quality processes Strong attention to detail and discipline in documenting work, investigations, and procedural updates accurately Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and explain technical concepts clearly Experience working in a clean room or controlled environment, with a strong understanding of gowning, contamination control, and safety procedures What's in it for you: $40000.00 - $80000.00 annually Gain work experience with a globally known pharmaceutical facility Opportunity for extension or permanent placement Weekly pay including 4% vacation premium Transit accessible and/or free parking Soft skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information both verbally and in writing Collaborative team player who works effectively with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization Excellent time-management and organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Adaptable and proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to continuous improvement This posting is for an active opening.
