About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization in the retail sector, is seeking a Dealer Changeover Consultant to support complex operational transitions across a national network of stores. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and accurate transfer of business operations, inventory, and assets between ownership groups.
You will work closely with store leadership, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners to guide them through a structured transition process. This is a highly collaborative, field-based role where your ability to build relationships, solve problems, and maintain accuracy will directly impact operational success across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll plan and support store transition activities, ensuring accuracy in inventory and asset evaluation
- You’ll guide store teams through established processes, providing coaching and clarity on expectations
- You’ll validate asset classifications and support financial documentation related to transitions
- You’ll develop and manage timelines, coordinating key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
- You’ll identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies across the network
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in retail operations, store management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of inventory management and asset evaluation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in a field-based role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook

Our typical hiring range is between $65,000 and $72,000 annually. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
