The Receptionist is responsible to provide
service-focused, effective, and efficient in-person, telephone, and online
reception services to external and internal Workers’ Safety and Compensation
Commission (WSCC) stakeholders. The Receptionist is also responsible to provide
administrative support to the Performance and Corporate Services division.
This position is located
in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, reports to the
Facilities Supervisor and interacts with and provides exceptional
reception and customer service to WSCC stakeholders. As the first point of
contact for the Commission, the incumbent is integral to project a positive
image for the WSCC. The Receptionist promotes the vision, mission, and values
of the WSCC by delivering efficient and professional customer service. As the
incumbent is the first point of contact for both our external and internal
stakeholders, they are required to be punctual, prompt and reliable. This
position also provides administrative support to the Facilities and Records
Unit and Performance and Corporate Services, as directed by the Facilities
Supervisor.

intervenants externes et internes, sa ponctualité, sa rapidité et sa fiabilité
sont essentielles. La personne occupant ce poste fournit également un soutien
administratif à l’équipe de Gestion des installations et des dossiers, sous la

The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) is a government agency responsible for administering the Workers' Compensation Acts, Safety Acts, Explosives Use Acts and the Mine Health and Safety Acts.
Together, with their partners, the WSCC provides services to almost 40,000 workers and 4,000 employers across the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, processes over 3,000 claims annually, and conducts over 1,000 inspections annually to ensure the safety of northern workplaces.
