Our client, a leading organization within the consumer goods sector, is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Key Account Manager to join their growing team. This role plays a critical part in shaping category growth, driving customer partnerships, and executing sales strategies that deliver meaningful business impact.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and finance to bring customer-centric strategies to life. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead the development and execution of account strategies and annual plans aligned with category objectives
- You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including buyers and merchants
- You’ll manage full P&L accountability, including pricing, trade spend, and profitability levers
- You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver accurate forecasting and support end-to-end supply planning
- You’ll present business plans, insights, and recommendations to customers to drive growth and alignment
- You’ll analyze market trends, competitor activity, and shopper insights to identify opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally within CPG, FMCG, or consumer durables
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, MBA considered an asset
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and trade investments
- Experience working with retail POS systems and syndicated data
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a data-driven mindset
