About the Opportunity
Our client in the public sector is seeking a senior Analytics Consultant to support a large-scale transformation of enterprise reporting. This role plays a critical part in modernizing business intelligence capabilities, with a strong focus on transitioning legacy platforms to Power BI and enabling scalable, governed analytics solutions built on Snowflake.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data governance, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact dashboards and reporting frameworks. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the design and development of enterprise Power BI dashboards, ensuring alignment with data governance and reporting standards
• You’ll gather requirements and translate complex business needs into scalable, high-performing analytics solutions
• You’ll support the migration of legacy BI tools, including Qlik or Cognos, into modern Power BI and Snowflake environments
• You’ll define and implement Power BI development standards, including data modeling, DAX optimization, and visualization best practices
• You’ll act as a technical advisor, providing architecture guidance, design reviews, and mentorship to analytics teams
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and meaningful storytelling through dashboards
Skills and Qualifications
• 6–9+ years of progressive experience in enterprise analytics or business intelligence development
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, and performance optimization
• Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, and data transformation logic
• Proven experience supporting BI modernization or migration initiatives
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise reporting standards
• Experience reviewing and translating legacy BI tools such as Qlik or Cognos
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
