Senior Business Analyst
Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – currently 1 day onsite, increasing to 2 days/week as of September 2026)
Duration: 12-month contract
Rate: $80-100/hour

About the Opportunity
Our client in the healthcare space is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a high-impact digital transformation initiative while maintaining critical legacy systems. This role will play a key part in the implementation of a new Salesforce-based platform, alongside ongoing enhancements and support of existing applications.
You’ll work closely with project leadership, including a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, contributing to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day delivery. This is an opportunity to operate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where your ability to collaborate, communicate, and drive clarity will directly influence project success.

Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering activities, including workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Analyze and document current and future state business processes and workflows
- Develop and refine user stories, business rules, and supporting documentation
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support system configuration validation through demos and testing cycles (UAT)
- Collaborate with integration, change, and project teams to ensure alignment
- Support legacy system enhancements, including intake, analysis, and documentation
- Contribute to testing, release validation, and ongoing system improvements
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story development
- Proven ability to work across both project delivery and operational (BAU) environments
- Experience supporting software implementations (COTS and/or custom solutions)
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Salesforce implementations
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments
- Exposure to change management practices or frameworks
