Location: Oakville, ON (On-site, full-time)

Work hours: Rotating shifts between Sunday to Saturday (between 7AM-9PM, you will be working 5 days a week, 8 hours shifts)

Our client, a public sector organization supporting regional services and community programs, is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join their high-impact contact centre team. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for residents, helping them navigate essential services ranging from housing and financial support to waste management and community resources.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll respond to a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 10 calls per hour, addressing a wide range of service-related inquiries
- In this role, you’ll provide accurate information on community services, programs, and resources
- You’ll support in-person service counters as needed, assisting walk-in clients with professionalism and care
- You’ll maintain detailed and accurate records through data entry and system updates
- You’ll ensure each interaction reflects empathy, clarity, and a strong customer-first approach
Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service or call centre experience, or transferable experience in client-facing roles such as reception
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity
- Comfortable handling back-to-back calls in a fast-paced environment
- Proven data entry and typing accuracy, including keystroke and speed proficiency
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb new information in a short training period
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality service
