About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization within the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior IAM Specialist to support the evolution of its cybersecurity posture. This role is central to strengthening identity governance, privileged access controls, and overall access management practices in a highly regulated environment.
You’ll work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and risk teams to design and enhance IAM frameworks that protect critical systems and data. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly contribute to reducing risk, enabling secure operations, and supporting compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll act as a subject matter expert in IAM, guiding the design and improvement of identity governance and access control practices
- In this role, you’ll implement and manage PAM and PIM solutions, including CyberArk and Microsoft environments
- You’ll support identity architecture across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- You’ll lead access reviews, role governance, and entitlement management processes
- You’ll contribute to security monitoring and investigations related to identity threats using tools like Microsoft Sentinel
- You’ll identify and implement automation opportunities to improve provisioning, access reviews, and privileged access workflows
- You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with security and operational standards
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management within enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in CyberArk, PAM, PIM, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory
- Experience with identity governance, access reviews, and privileged access controls
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ITSG, or OSFI B-13
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
