About the Opportunity
This is a unique leadership opportunity for a seasoned Business Analysis professional who is passionate about building high-performing teams and shaping best practices at scale. In this role, you will guide a team of Business Analysts within a growing IT function, helping to drive clarity, consistency, and excellence across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Agile delivery teams, and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced financial services environment. Your impact will be felt not only through delivery, but through mentorship, community building, and advancing the Business Analysis discipline across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, fostering a strong, inclusive, and high-performing environment
• You’ll coach and mentor team members on best practices in requirements gathering, documentation, and Agile delivery
• You’ll partner with stakeholders to ensure clear, accurate, and actionable business and system requirements
• You’ll drive continuous improvement of Business Analysis standards, tools, and KPIs
• You’ll support hiring, performance management, and succession planning within the team
• You’ll influence enterprise initiatives by bridging business needs with technology solutions
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in management or equivalent leadership role within an IT Business Analysis team
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst (Senior Business Systems Analyst) for software development projects
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at the management level and above
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, SDLC, and Business Analysis frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including at the executive level
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex, matrixed environments
• CBAP certification required, with additional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or ITIL considered assets
• Experience within financial services or mortgage-related environments is an asset
