About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization in the music and entertainment industry, is seeking a Director, Streaming & Data to join their Toronto team. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to senior executives, where you will shape how streaming performance and data insights drive business decisions and revenue growth.
You will lead a small but high-performing team across streaming partnerships and data insights, working closely with internal leaders and external platform partners. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and relationship management, offering the opportunity to influence how artists, content, and audiences connect in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead and evolve streaming strategy, driving revenue growth and market share across key digital platforms
- You’ll manage and mentor a team responsible for streaming partnerships and data insights
- You’ll build and maintain senior-level relationships with platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube
- You’ll translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies that guide marketing, investment, and growth decisions
- You’ll oversee forecasting, dashboards, and performance reporting to support business planning
- You’ll present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in streaming, media, entertainment, or digital platforms
- Proven experience managing partnerships and driving commercial outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into strategy
- Experience leading or mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Chartmetric, or similar analytics platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
