Agilus is recruiting for an HSE Advisor in the Oil and Gas industry in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
Join a major industrial project as a Project EHS Site Advisor, supporting field safety operations, documentation, and contractor compliance. Working on a 14/7 rotation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe work practices, accurate reporting, and adherence to EHS programs across the site.
Total rewards:
$65.00 - $80.00 hourly
Hourly rate: $65–$67/hr T4; Incorporated rate: $80/hr
14/7 rotation with camp accommodations

12-hour workdays

Hands-on experience with major industrial EHS programs
Responsibilities:
Conduct site safety orientations and ensure ISN orientations are complete
Verify and maintain worker trade, safety certifications, and competencies
Support collection and reporting of Project KPIs from site contractors
Maintain EHS plans, corrective action registers, MERP/ERP documents
Oversee SDS management, fall protection plans, lift plans, CTMP/road use plans
Administer site entry systems, gas detection equipment, radios, and communication tools
Participate in EHS meetings and conduct field inspections, spot checks, and tours
Support incident notifications, injury management, investigations, and contractor oversight
Requirements:
Previous experience in an industrial or construction EHS role
Strong understanding of field safety programs, documentation, and audits
Ability to coordinate orientations, permits, lift plans, and field EHS systems
Experience with confined space entry planning and rescue procedures
Capability to conduct air quality testing (NORMS, Benzene, Mercury)
Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with contractors
High attention to detail with strong documentation practices
Ability to work a 14/7 rotation in a remote camp environment
