About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established organization within a highly regulated environment, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the evolution of its enterprise technology landscape. This role plays a critical part in shaping how systems, data, and applications come together to support operational excellence, public safety, and regulatory effectiveness.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business leaders, and external partners to define and guide enterprise-wide architecture strategies. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
• You’ll lead the design of large-scale enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to assess current application portfolios and recommend optimization strategies
• You’ll provide architectural guidance across projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices
• You’ll evaluate emerging technologies and advise on their potential to enhance business capabilities
Skills and Qualifications
• 9 to 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture or large-scale system design
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field
• Proven experience defining business application portfolios and enterprise architecture strategies
• Strong understanding of complex IT environments within regulated or compliance-driven sectors
• Experience in occupational health and safety, regulatory enforcement, engineering inspection, or risk management environments is considered a strong asset
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
