About the Opportunity
Our client, a community-focused non-profit organization, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team and help maintain seamless financial and client support operations. This role supports job seekers by helping them access essential funding, services, and resources that remove barriers to employment.
You will work closely with case managers, finance team members, and administrative colleagues, ensuring that client expenditures are processed accurately and on time. Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will process a high volume of expenditure requests, including credit card transactions, receipts, and supporting documentation.
You will collaborate with case managers, helping them create expenditure files, develop rationale for approvals, and submit transactions to finance.
You will maintain accurate case notes and update the CRM system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
You will coordinate appointment scheduling, reference spreadsheets, and manage reminders through Telus for client outreach.
You will provide occasional front-facing administrative support, alternating with fellow admin team members.
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of administrative, financial processing, or customer service experience.
Experience working with CRM databases and comfort with spreadsheets and digital tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
Proven ability to manage high-volume tasks, stay organized, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual in English and French is required in oral and written communication.
