About the Opportunity
Our client, a leader in the infrastructure and energy sector, is seeking a skilled Document Controller to support a dynamic portfolio of projects. In this role, you will join a collaborative project delivery team that values precision, organization, and strong communication. Your work will ensure that critical project documentation flows seamlessly between internal teams and external partners.

You will work closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and technical specialists, helping maintain the accuracy and integrity of key project records throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities
- You will handle day-to-day document control activities across multiple projects in the portfolio.
- You will facilitate document reviews, follow-ups, and approvals to ensure timely progression of project deliverables.
- You will manage incoming and outgoing transmittals and maintain accurate document numbering and validation.
- You will oversee QA and QC checks of submitted documents, enforcing compliance with established procedures.
- In this role, you will act as the process owner for document control standards, templates, and numbering systems.
- You will set up and maintain SharePoint sites, managing permissions and ensuring secure access control.
- You will support the rollout and ongoing use of Omega 365, including transitioning projects from Aconex.
- You will train and support project teams and contractors on document control practices and tools.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in document control within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Direct experience with Aconex and familiarity with Omega 365 or similar EDMS platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation with accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support team members and contractors effectively.
