Job Posting: After Hours/Overnight Security Officer Positions, Oromocto, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire mature and responsible team members, in Oromocto and Fredericton, for overnight security work.

Hours:
4pm-12 midnight, 12 midnight to 8am- 7 days on/off

Rate of Pay:
$18.55 per hour


The Role:
The Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the site. Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving vehicle patrols.

We are seeking candidates with:

·
Physical fitness to perform rounds in all types of environmental conditions - may also require sitting for extended periods of time

·
A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks

·
Customer service experience

·
Valid class 5 Driver’s License

·
Security Officer must have their own vehicle to use on site for each shift


The successful candidate must be able to:

·
Maintain high levels of confidentiality

·
Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations

·
Respond to emergency situations

·
Clean Criminal Record and
the ability to obtain required security clearances


Designated Veteran Status is an asset but not a requirement.
