Conservation and Construction Services (CCS) is responsible for the conservation and maintenance of Provincial Historic Resources owned by the Government of Alberta.
The Conservation and Maintenance Worker reports to the Restoration Foremen and performs maintenance and construction work on historic properties in the ministry's portfolio. This position performs a variety of contemporary and traditional trades and crafts in the development and maintenance of these properties to ensure their preservation and performs three vital roles:
1) Construction and Maintenance
2) Grounds and Site Maintenance
3) Cyclical Preventative Maintenance

Some high school education, related training and two year of related experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
