Working closely with senior leadership, asset management, and FP&A, you will be a trusted advisor and visible leader across the business. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead the delivery and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for a portfolio of real estate funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASPE
- You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity analysis, providing insight into acquisitions, dispositions, and overall fund performance
- You’ll manage the preparation of board reporting materials, including presenting financial insights to senior leadership
- You’ll act as a key liaison for audits, lender reporting, and investor communications
- You’ll mentor and develop a team, while also reviewing and contributing to their work to ensure quality and consistency
- You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A and asset management teams, applying a strategic lens to validate and interpret financial data
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, ideally within real estate or asset management
- CPA designation required, with a degree in finance, accounting, or business
- Strong financial reporting expertise, with knowledge of ASPE
- Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess and challenge financial outputs
