Location: Vaughan, ON, On-site (Monday to Friday, day shift: 06:00 AM–02:30 PM)
Language: English, able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
Duration: 3-month contract, starting 2026-04-01
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
Background Check Requirement: Standard client background check and identity verification required

About the Opportunity
Join a fast-paced records and document services team where you will help transform physical records into searchable digital files, ensuring quality and timely delivery to internal and external customers. Your attention to detail and steady work will directly support accurate recordkeeping and improve information access across the organization. You will collaborate with scanners, quality reviewers, and indexing staff in a team-focused environment.

This opportunity is with a service-oriented organization in the document management sector that values consistency, accuracy, and teamwork. You will contribute to essential operational processes that keep critical information secure and organized, while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard scanning equipment and workflows.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will load and operate various document scanners, ensuring sheets are returned to cartons in the original order.
  • You will perform quality checks to confirm scanned images match source documents, correcting or flagging issues as needed.
  • You will index and release scanned files, documenting records accurately for client delivery.
  • You will troubleshoot and perform basic cleaning and maintenance on scanners to maintain throughput.
  • You will follow established processes for handling sensitive materials and maintain a consistent pace of data entry.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in document scanning, data entry, or a similar role, comfortable with seated keyboard-intensive work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy during repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable operating and performing basic troubleshooting on scanning equipment and computers.
  • Good time management and ability to follow established workflows and quality standards.
  • Able to stand for short periods when feeding scanners, and lift or move boxes of documents as required.
