About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Category Business Manager to drive performance across key merchandising categories. This is an opportunity to take ownership of financial outcomes while shaping assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies that directly impact customer experience and business growth.


You will work closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and operations, playing a critical role in delivering strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is motivated by solving complex challenges while influencing meaningful outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll act as the subject-matter expert for your category, driving strategy and performance
  • You’ll develop and execute assortment, pricing, and promotional plans aligned with financial targets
  • In this role, you’ll analyze consumer trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights to inform decisions
  • You’ll lead line reviews, including vendor negotiations, assortment approvals, and timeline management
  • You’ll recommend pricing strategies and product lifecycle decisions, including discontinuations
  • You’ll collaborate on promotional planning and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
  • You’ll mentor and guide a Category Business Analyst, supporting their growth and performance


Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Category Management or a related cross-functional role
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business plans that drive financial and operational results
  • Strong business acumen, with expertise in retail marketing, consumer trends, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 2 to 4 weeks per year

Compensation & Benefits
