Our client, a leading professional services organization, is seeking a creative and culturally aware Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator to support a high-profile national initiative. This role focuses on developing meaningful digital content that engages Indigenous communities and supports broader communication strategies.
You’ll work closely with internal teams while operating independently in a remote environment, helping shape how stories are shared across digital platforms. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll plan, create, and publish engaging content across multiple social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- In this role, you’ll monitor engagement, respond to comments, and identify opportunities to enhance audience interaction
- You’ll collaborate with internal teams to align digital content with broader communications goals
- You’ll adapt content for diverse audiences, leveraging visual storytelling and short-form video
- You’ll track performance metrics and provide insights to improve content effectiveness
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for organizations or campaigns
- Strong knowledge of major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Experience using CMS tools and creating digital or visual content, Canva or Adobe is an asset
- Excellent written communication skills and strong organizational abilities
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or culturally informed content is highly valued
