As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support a mission-driven team committed to innovation, transparency, and delivering value to communities across the province.
Working closely with leaders and People and Culture partners, you will help shape how talent is attracted, engaged, and welcomed into the organization. Your work will directly influence workforce diversity, organizational culture, and the overall employee experience, from first conversation to first day and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional roles, from sourcing and interviewing through to offer presentation and acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers, coaching them through best practices and helping them make confident, inclusive hiring decisions.
- Proactively source talent using networking, direct outreach, ATS tools, and innovative recruitment channels.
- Support and enhance onboarding experiences, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and a strong first impression.
- Build pipelines of diverse talent, working with equity groups and community partners to support representation goals.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in a full-cycle recruitment environment.
- University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting within a unionized environment.
- Background in a regulated industry, public sector, utility, or not-for-profit setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Comfort working with ATS, HRIS systems, and web-based recruitment tools, including social media platforms.
