Agilus is recruiting for a Junior/Intermediate Estimator in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Our client that specializes in the manufacturing of combustion products is hiring for a full time Junior to Intermediate Estimator for their Calgary office. Total rewards: $80000.00 - $100000.00 annually $80,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Extended Health Coverage, Dental Coverage, Life Insurance, and AD&D Insurance. A typical day: Coordinate the development of detailed project proposals, maintaining ownership from RFQ receipt through award. Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, track proposals, and support client engagement. Serve as the primary point of contact for proposal clarifications, revisions, and awards. Review client RFQs/RFPs/contracts and assign actions to Engineering, Supply Chain, and Contracts as required. Develop accurate cost estimates and proposals using internal design, costing, and estimating procedures. Participate in and help lead internal “Bid-to-Win” strategy sessions. Follow up on submitted proposals and maintain proposal status tracking Support project execution by participating in estimate-to-actual reviews and job close-out meetings Successful candidates will have: Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology background, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on industry experience. Proven experience estimating fabricated process equipment within an oil & gas, energy, or industrial fabrication environment. Strong understanding of weld processes, structural fabrication, and shop/manufacturing practices. Demonstrated ability to build detailed cost estimates for fabricated assemblies and systems. Demonstrated ability to build detailed cost estimates for fabricated assemblies and systems. Comfortable working directly with clients and internal stakeholders in a commercial environment. Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. Experience with flare design or flare systems is a strong asset. This posting is for an active opening.
