About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AI professional to help shape practical, enterprise-grade AI solutions within a complex and fast-moving industrial environment. Working within a large-scale engineering and technology function, you will play a key role in transforming operational challenges into scalable tools that improve consistency, efficiency, and decision-making across the business.
In this role, your initial focus will center on building AI-enabled solutions that support and standardize engineering estimation processes. You’ll collaborate closely with business leaders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to bring ideas from concept through to production, while helping create safe, repeatable, and sustainable approaches for future AI adoption across the organization.
What’s In It for You
You’ll join a team that is investing in practical innovation and looking for someone who can help turn emerging technology into real business value. This is a chance to work on meaningful AI initiatives in a collaborative environment that values integrity, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving.
You’ll also gain exposure to cross-functional stakeholders, enterprise platforms, and long-term transformation work, with the opportunity to help define best practices and influence how AI is delivered at scale in a regulated environment.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand operational challenges, define success metrics, and shape the right AI approach
• In this role, you’ll translate business needs into data requirements, delivery plans, and practical model or inference designs
• You’ll support the build and delivery of production AI solutions, whether developed internally or with external partners
• You’ll validate outputs with subject matter experts and continuously refine solutions to improve reliability and measurable business value
• You’ll monitor performance, identify risks such as drift or hallucinations, and drive ongoing tuning, retraining, and rule updates
• You’ll maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and support processes while helping establish scalable AI delivery standards and knowledge transfer practices
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT, data, engineering, or AI-related environments
• Hands-on experience delivering analytics or AI solutions into production enterprise settings, beyond proof of concept work
• Strong understanding of the full AI lifecycle, from data sourcing and development through deployment, monitoring, and improvement
• Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or Engineer-to-Order environments
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft-centric environments, including tools such as SAP ECC6, S/4HANA, M365, and Azure
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
• A strong sense of ownership, documentation discipline, and operational thinking in regulated or controlled environments
Note from the Hiring Manager
“We’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business problems and practical AI delivery, someone who is hands-on, thoughtful, and excited to help build solutions that people will actually use.”
