About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-known Canadian organization, is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join its Finance Transformation team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting business needs to practical process and system improvements, while partnering closely with Finance and cross-functional teams on high-impact initiatives.

In this role, you will help shape and support finance transformation projects by gathering requirements, identifying process gaps, improving workflows, and coordinating business readiness activities. You’ll work with a collaborative group that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping build scalable solutions that support long-term business goals.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll identify preliminary Finance business requirements for projects and system changes impacting Finance processes
• You’ll gather and document detailed requirements, translating them into user stories, process flows, UAT scenarios, and sign-off materials
• You’ll support business readiness activities for Finance initiatives and transformation projects
• You’ll organize and facilitate project activities, including user acceptance testing, with business process owners
• You’ll identify process gaps and help document practical, scalable solutions
• You’ll work closely with Finance, Technology, and other internal teams to keep initiatives moving forward

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Finance or Finance systems, supporting projects or transformation initiatives
• 2+ years of experience working in a large ERP environment, SAP preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business Systems, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles, with familiarity across ERP business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report
• Strong documentation skills, including process flows, spreadsheets, reporting, and presentation materials
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• CPA, PMP, or other related professional designations are considered assets
