This role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory reporting accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across our Midstream U.S. and Canadian operations. Pay Rate for T4 is $40 - $49/hr and for IC range $50 - $57.50/hr
Calgary downtown office
Mon to Friday 40 hours per week, all days in office
1 year contract
A typical day:
Prepare and submit mandatory environmental and regulatory reports for facilities in the U.S. and Canada, including— but not limited to—air emissions, waste, water, and greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting.
Review and validate environmental data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and internal standards.
Maintain a comprehensive calendar of environmental reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings
Support audits, inspections, and responses to information requests from environmental authorities
Monitor changes to regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and communicate implications to the compliance and operations teams
Contribute to sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data reporting initiatives
Support process improvements and system enhancements for environmental and regulatory reporting
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks and work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Successful candidates will have:
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field
10+ years of experience in environmental compliance or reporting, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy-related sector
Working knowledge of U.S. (EPA, state) and Canadian (ECCC, provincial) environmental reporting systems and regulations
Strong data analysis and documentation skills (Excel, Power BI)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
