About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established financial services organization, is seeking a Mortgage Administrator to join their in-office team. This role plays a key part in supporting the mortgage function by ensuring files, processes, and client interactions are handled accurately and efficiently across the full mortgage lifecycle.
You will work closely with underwriters, fulfillment teams, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly. Your Responsibilities
You’ll manage mortgage files from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance at each stage
You’ll support renewals, discharges, and payment processing, maintaining up-to-date records and documentation
You’ll prepare and update mortgage data, including banking details, client information, and renewal terms
You’ll calculate payout penalties and assist with administrative components of mortgage transactions
You’ll follow up on property tax payments and insurance status, including client outreach when required
You’ll respond to internal and external inquiries, providing timely and professional support
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of residential mortgage experience within a deposit-taking institution
Strong understanding of mortgage processes including renewals, discharges, and file administration
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency with computer systems and data entry in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in an in-office setting
