About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-paced, growth-stage leader in the health technology space, currently expanding its footprint across the Canadian and US markets. We are seeking a visionary Director of Marketing to step into a newly created role and build a high-performing marketing function from the ground up. You will be the strategic architect behind a brand that connects healthcare providers and patients through innovative SaaS solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with the Founder and VP of Operations to transition the organization into its next global phase. This is a "player-coach" opportunity designed for a technical marketing expert who thrives in the agility of a startup environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how the world interacts with the future of digital health.
What’s in it for You
This is a rare chance to take total ownership of a marketing roadmap for a company on the verge of international scale. You will enjoy a culture that values high-level AI integration, automation, and creative problem-solving. Beyond a competitive salary and performance bonuses, you will gain immense professional exposure by developing investor-facing brand visions and leading large-scale product launches in a regulated, high-impact industry.
Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead the charge on a comprehensive marketing roadmap, beginning with the immediate launch and optimization of a new corporate website.
- In this role, you’ll oversee the end-to-end growth strategy, implementing advanced SEO and digital campaigns to drive member acquisition for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- You’ll build and maintain a sophisticated suite of sales collateral and investor materials, ensuring the brand voice remains consistent across all touchpoints.
- You’ll pioneer the use of AI tools to automate content workflows, ad generation, and market research, keeping the organization at the cutting edge of marketing operations.
- In this role, you’ll manage external agencies and consultants while eventually hiring and mentoring an internal team of marketing specialists.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7 to 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- Proven experience navigating the complexities of the healthcare sector and associated regulatory landscapes in Canada and the United States.
- A "start-up" mentality with a track record of taking a company or product through a significant international growth phase.
- Advanced technical proficiency in AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, and automation platforms like Make or Zapier.
- Expertise in full-funnel digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and CRM management within HubSpot or Salesforce.
